More to share as the CDC/NDPP released the NEW 2021 DPRP Standards. As a big reminder…first…don’t forget to download/copy the New 2021 DPRP Standards! Then….review the latest summary .
So how do the updated 2021 Standards compare to the 2018 Standards? Basically, we see a lot of similarity between the two guides, with a few minor additions, changes along the way, which include the following:
- Advanced Coaching Requirement–what this means
- Change of Ownership–explaining what is required if a CDC recognized organization is purchased by another organization.
- Curriculum Content–guidance and best practices for coaches, emphasizing importance of the coach role in supporting individual learning styles, communication, and motivation.
- Make up sessions-additional guidance and explanation for coaches!
- Umbrella Arrangements
- Some “tweaks” and changes to CDC Recognition Categories
- Recognition Extension and Exceptions–sometimes “things happen”!
- Submitting Evaluation Data–including SAMS and the new Data Submission Portal
- Avoiding Mistakes…tips and reminders!
