As we work within our DPP, it’s always important to keep engaging our participants! Exploring each week: What will “bring them back”? Consider visiting the FDA’s “Snack Shack” to play some games! Remember, considering there are 16 sessions in the first six months and between 6 to 10 sessions in the last 6 months, there will be weeks where we can easily create fun group opportunities (voluntary attendance and no data collected)….grocery store tours, making and sharing a favorite healthy snack, farmer’s market visit, exercise class with guest instructor (first asking, what your participants are interested in)—and/or bringing in a past participant as a guest speaker (permission from participants, of course). Be creative!
